Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2026

These terms set out the basis on which you can use Graft (thegraft.ie), an ALINX Company. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Graft.

1. What Graft is

Graft is an online marketplace connecting tradespeople ("Workers") looking for work with businesses ("Companies") looking to hire them. Workers create a free profile; Companies pay a subscription to browse profiles and unlock direct contact details.

Graft is a platform, not an employer, recruitment agency, or party to any work arrangement made between a Worker and a Company. We don't guarantee that any Worker will be hired, that any Company will find suitable staff, or the outcome, quality, or safety of any work carried out. Once contact details are exchanged, what happens next is between the Worker and the Company.

2. Who can use Graft

3. Worker accounts

Worker profiles are free, always. Certifications, qualifications and experience listed on a profile are self-declared by the Worker. Graft does not independently verify these unless explicitly stated otherwise, and Companies should carry out their own checks before engaging anyone.

When a Company unlocks your profile, your phone number is shared with them and you may be contacted by text or phone. You can pause your profile at any time to stop appearing in search results.

4. Company accounts and billing

Fair use. To keep the platform useful and fair for everyone, and to stop the Worker directory being bulk-extracted for use outside Graft, reasonable daily and monthly limits apply to how many profiles a Company can unlock. These limits are set well above what a genuine hiring need requires. If you're hiring at a scale that hits them, get in touch — we're happy to talk about it.

5. Reviews

Companies may leave a review for a Worker only after genuinely unlocking and (implicitly) engaging with that Worker. Reviews should be honest and relate to a real working relationship. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are abusive, clearly false, or otherwise breach these terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, without refund where the breach relates to abuse of the service.

7. Liability

Graft is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the platform available and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Graft isn't liable for any loss arising from work arranged through the platform, from a Worker's or Company's conduct, or from reliance on information in a profile or review.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know, e.g. by email or a notice on the site. Continuing to use Graft after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
